Nancy Reingold Bird Robbins is the mother of Cass Bird. Reportedly born in May 1943, Nancy is now 80 years old. In 2019, Cass posted a throwback of her mom and her brother on Nancy’s birthday. She wished her, “Mom holding big brother 1974 happy birthday @nancy_1818.”
Very little is known about her job and career. However, she likely worked in a record company.
Wade Conklin vice president of PolyGram and former VP of Casablanca Records and Buddah Records once posted that Nancy and her husband Bruce were among his mentors.

Meet Bruce Bird, Cass Bird Father
Cass Bird’s father Bruce Bird is no more. Bruce was a founder of Camel Management and a former record industry executive. He died in November 1992 at the age of 44 after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage at his home in Calabasas.
As regional sales and promotion manager for Liberty Records Distributing Company of Ohio, Bruce started his career in 1966. He transferred to Buddah Records in 1974 to serve as vice president of promotion. He collaborated with the Isley Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Curtis Mayfield, Gladys Knight, and Gladys Knight at Buddah.
Bruce temporarily had his own marketing and promotion company before joining Casablanca Records in 1976 as vice president of promotion. His label’s artists included Donna Summer, Kiss, and the Village People. He founded Camel Records in 1982 in collaboration with MCA, where he introduced the band Night Ranger. After that, he established Camel Management and developed clients like Vince Neil, Sass Jordan, Slapbak, and Tattoo Rodeo.
Besides his wife and kids, Bruce was survived by his mother Anne, two brothers, and a sister.
