Alan Tenta On Alone Season 10
In 2023, a brand-new season of Alone aired on The History Channel. The tenth season of “Survivor” has been dubbed the “toughest yet,” as 10 participants fight to survive and win a cash reward of $500,000. The Alone contestants have battled for survival ever since it began on June 8, 2023. After ten episodes, nearly every survivor has been eliminated from contention. The tenth and final episode of the History Channel series airs on August 17 to wrap up the season.
Alan is one of the remaining contestants this season. The other two survivalists in Alone as episode 10 airs are Wyatt, a company owner, and Mikey, a carpenter.
“I had thoughts almost every day, wondering how everybody else was doing, and how I was doing comparatively,” Alan told Pioneer. “But for sure I was happy with my performance up to that point.”
His biggest physical challenge was simply procuring enough to eat. In the early episodes of the show, most contestants focused primarily on building their shelters. Then, as fall deepens and there is a sense of winter approaching, their focus shifts from merely obtaining enough food to survive to attempting to store food for later. Alan was consistently catching fish and smoking some of it to preserve it.
“You are always hungry. You are eating, of course, but only enough to keep you from starving,” he told the Pioneer. Alan added, “You need to store as much as you can.”
Moreover, Alan’s greatest adventure will be taking part in Alone. He is eager to challenge the boundaries of his physical and mental strength while also putting his bowhunting, fishing, foraging, and bushcrafting prowess to the test.
While the Alone was on Alone, his son Nick turned five years old. The History Channel celebrity said Happy Birthday to his son and displayed the toys that he had crafted for him while living in the jungle. In order to see his dad join him at the end of the program, Wyatt said he would fight with “every tooth and nail” he had. Alan explained that Day 50 of the show had always been his goal. Even though he was successful in doing so on episode 10, he said he still wanted to continue to win season 10.

Early on, Alan Tenta was exposed to the great outdoors. Alan’s father helped him discover his love of fishing, hunting, and archery. Fly fishing became his passion after he started using a worm and float to fish the small creek beneath his house. His passion for archery later in life made the shift to bowhunting easy. With his family and friends, he loves to go camping, go on thrilling motorcycle rides, fly fish in the nearby lakes and streams, and go deer, elk, and turkey shooting with a bow.
Alan began looking at careers in education after earning a degree in teaching. He began his employment at a school in Fort Nelson, British Columbia’s north. Following his stay there, Alan made the decision to relocate to British Columbia in 2010. At the David Thompson Secondary School in Invermere, Columbia Valley, he started his teaching career there. As he continued to instruct children in topics like English, social studies, and physical education, Alan thought he could add more value for many of his pupils.
Furthermore, he was also inspired to do more by his enthusiasm for the outdoors. As a result, Alan decided to take it upon himself to incorporate outdoor education into the curriculum. In 2016, after the local school board granted his request, he started instructing kids in the fundamentals of outdoor survival. Cross-country skiing, rock climbing, fly fishing, ice fishing, and other activities were all part of Alan’s curriculum.
