Mitchell is the star of season 2 of Farmer Wants A Wife. Although he hailed from Knoxville, Tennessee, he is a first-generation farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Mitchell lives with his three dogs in a 19th-century cabin on a brand-new farm, but his ambition is to eventually extend his property into the neighboring forests.
“He knew a life in the heartland was the one for him, so he bought his first farm to pursue his dream of becoming a horse and cattle rancher,” his bio in the press release reads. “He hopes to build a farming legacy with a wife by his side.”

The show assists four bachelors in finding their true love. The second season of the FOX show follows four farmers — Ty Ferrell, Mitchell, Brandon Rogers, and Nathan Smothers — on their road to love. Each bachelor will host a group of eight single women from a metropolis and introduce them to the country’s lifestyle.

Mitchell’s late grandmother is named Peggy Ann Mabry Kolinsky who died at the age of 78 in May 2016. Peggy studied at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as well as Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She was Pi Kappa Alpha Dream Girl & Engineering ACE Queen of Hearts, a majorette for The Pride of the Southland Band, and a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Peggy worked for United American Bank, participated in the 1982 World’s Fair, and spent 27 years in the First Tennessee Bank Trust Division.
