Cat Baugh is the newest addition to Below Deck’s season 11. With five years of experience under her belt, Cat is well-versed in the yachting lifestyle and is sure to make an impression on the returning Captain Kerry. But Cat has expressed her surprise at the sheer scale of St. David, so perhaps the enormity of such a large task won’t overwhelm her.
The season returned with familiar faces including Chief Stew Fraser Olender and Deckhand Ben Willoughby. This season’s new cast members are chef Anthony Iracane, stews Barbie Pascual and Xandi Oliviier, deckhands Kyle Stillie and Marie “Sunny” Marquis, and bosun Jared Woodin.

Who Are Cat Baugh Parents?
Cat Baugh hasn’t revealed details about her parents; foster or biological. However, she did discuss her upbringing.
When Cat was a teenager, both of her parents had passed away, and she had been taken into a foster home. In conversation with fellow cast member Fraser Olender, Baugh talked about the “trauma” of her early years.
Delving into her early traumas, Cat revealed to Olender that Baugh isn’t actually her genuine last name because she ‘was in foster care’ following the deaths of both of her parents.
‘My dad passed away when I was nine from Multiple sclerosis and then my mom passed away when I was 13 just in her sleep – it was very sudden,’ said Cat. In addition, Cat alleged that she and her brother “were thrown into the system and separated” and that she was adopted into a family in Southern California that, in her words, operated like a cult.
‘The family I lived with I don’t talk to because they were like a cult religion,’ Cat added further. She added, ‘They wouldn’t even allow me to talk to him because he wasn’t religious,’ and stated that although she and her brother stayed in California, she was unable to communicate with him.
Cat said their religious beliefs were so ‘extreme,’ they ‘wouldn’t even let me speak to my own biological brother.’ ‘From 13 to 18, I was a part of this family’s culture and life and dynamic.’
“I wanted to continue a relationship with my biological brother, they were like, “No. We don’t support that,”‘ Baugh added further. “Once I turned 18, I decided to choose my brother and choose my life. I decided to live for me and that’s when I became the most independent. Now me and my brother are so close. He’s like my best friend.”
“The foster family I was with did a lot of things that made me feel like I was just not perfect. You had to be perfect. So how people view my work ethic is very important to me. I don’t want to be viewed as weak. It literally makes me have major anxiety.”
