Are Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee And Deepti Vempati From Love Is Blind Still Together?
Before joining season 2 of “Love Is Blind,” Abhishek had only dated White people to style themselves in that American lifestyle. But, he signed up for Netflix’s show and never dreamt that he would meet someone of Indian heritage and hit it off. Their shared heritage was one of the reasons Shake and Deepti connected and bonded with each other.
At first, Abhishek came off as “very superficial” to Deepti because he focused more on her appearance (dress sizes and workout routines). He also asked if he could carry his dates if they were in music festivals. Regardless, Deepti decided to go deeper with Shake and see if she could find something that he hid from all the others.
The fact they had never dated brown people before brought them closer together more. They played with each other’s vulnerable sides and Deepti even admitted that she used to weigh more in the past. But, Abhishek, being a considerate individual, admitted that he was wrong and felt “ashamed” to approach her and others the way he did.
Abhishek also talked about how he used to be an overweight kid with serious body image issues. Deepti went on to say that she desired him for who he was on the inside. Abhishek found what he was looking for and proposed Deepti, “I’ve never met someone who seems to understand me the way you do…You make me feel some type of way… Will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?”
Deepti accepted and they met face to face which only made their bond stronger. Shake’s touch on Deepti’s feet sealed the deal for the couple, as Deepti had previously stated that she would not do the same as his equal.
Although Abhishek began with “physical attraction,” he eventually settled for a good heart and a deeper bond, and they learned more about each other as they adjusted to their relationship in the real world. Their relationship had provided them with unsurpassed support and attention.
Based on all of that, “Love Is Blind” couple Abhishek and Deepti likely had a happy ending. For one thing, they still follow each other social media. Abhishek hasn’t dropped any clues on their current relationship status though. But, his partner Deepti has shared a subtle hint, and based on that they might still be together. On 31 January 2022 post while celebrating her birthday, she wrote, “This will be the best year yet #31.”

Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee Job
Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee started his career as a Veterinary Assistant at Indian Praire Animal Hospital in June 2005. He worked there until August 2007. A year later in September 2008, he joined Champaign County Humane Society as Pre-Veterinary Intern.
In June 2009, Abhishek started working in the University of Illinois Small Animal Clinic as Assistant Researcher. After working for 8 months, he then became Teaching Assistant. During that five months, he taught Comparative Immunobiology, a graduate/advanced undergraduate course worth 4 credit hours, with approximately 60 students enrolled.
In the meantime, his job responsibility also included working as a Client Services Representative. His resume also includes working as a researcher at African Predator Research Organization, Veterinary Assistant at Phillips Park Zoo, and a Veterinarian at Indian Praire Animal Hospital.
In December 2013, Abhishek had founded VETcetera LLC the company which he ran till 2018. He also worked as a veterinarian for Companion Animal Hospital Partners LLC.
Coming to his academic qualifications, Abhishek earned his BS in Animal Science from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 2010. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota – College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.
