Felicia came to live with Jenny and Michael when their mother Sharri got in trouble. But, Felicia ended up going into foster care. But when Tawney was born who had a different father than Felicia, Jenny and Michael weren’t able to get her as they did with Felicia. Tawney had a father who wanted to be in her life and wouldn’t allow her to get into foster care.
However, Tawney’s father messed up and Tawney joined Jenny and Michael. Later, Tawney’s father came back and got her. But Felicia who turned 19 at the time went to get Tawney and the two sisters started living in Jenny’s home.
Felicia and Tawney were supposed to be adopted two times, the first time was four years before the show was filmed because of Jenny’s work schedule and the second time was because of the fire in California.
