Andromeda Dunker is the staple actor working behind the camera for HGTV’s reality show ‘The House Hunters.’ Fans might not recognize her through her pictures but her voice has been used for the HGTV show and its spinoffs for 12 years. She has narrated every episode of the show where solo buyers, couples, or families find their dream properties on HGTV.
The fans of the show have seen changes in locations, homebuyers, and the real estate agents involved, but Andromeda is the only person who has been constant in the show.
“Part of my job is to be in the background. I’m not really with you, but I am leading you through this journey as a narrator. That’s kind of how I see it. If I were to come out more as a personality of my own, then it kind of breaks it. I’m not sure it would work as well,” she noted about her work.
Andromeda has worked in more than 2,000 episodes of the original series and nearly 850 episodes of its spin-off, House Hunters International.
While Andromedia is the third narrator to join the ‘House Hunter.’ From 1999 to 2007, comedian Suzanne Whang was the first host of the show. Unlike her, Suzanne also appeared on the show. But, after she left, the network switched its format and kept the narrator out of the camera lenses.
In 2019, Suzanne passed away after 13-years of battling cancer.

Joshua graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and earned his BA degree in Communications and Theater in 1992. His IMDB reads that he worked as an actor in a short film named ‘Tomorrow.’
