During an interview with the University of Mary Washington, Anissa Felix shared that her parents Larry and Wendy Felix moved from Brooklyn, N.Y., to Virginia in the 1980s. Anissa was yet to be born at that time. They returned to New York often, with their children in tow. When her dad thought Felix was old enough, he showed her how to navigate the city.
Fosse, a three-act musical revue by musical theatre legend Bob Fosse sparked the passion to pursue a career as an actor and she was not even 10 years old at the time. “I had always been a performer,” Anissa said, who started taking singing and dancing lessons at age 5.
Anissa has always been a performer, and by the age of 21, she was in at least 30 shows. Besides theatre and broadway gigs, the actress has also appeared on TV shows such as Over My Dead Body, Detroit, Wisco Queens, Two Sentence Horror Stories, The Deuce, FBI, and The Good Fight among others.
In 2023, she has been cast as India in A24’s Survival of the Thickest.

Larry Felix is the father of Anissa Felix. Born in (11) October 1958, Larry is 64 years old in 2023. He has a LinkedIn profile that reveals that he is currently serving as the Principal and Managing Director of LRF-LLC since 2015. Additionally, he holds the prestigious position of co-founder and Chairman of Noteworthy, an innovative company combining crypto value with traditional banknote technology.
Not only that, Larry is also a Member of the Advisory Board at Zyston LLC since 2017. At NiQuan Energy, LLC, he is serving as Chairman of the Board (non-executive) for the company which is a leader in the clean energy revolution – converting gas into clean zero-sulfur liquid fuels. Anissa Felix’s mother Wendy Felix is quite reserved about her personal and professional life. The 63-year-old mother of two was born on 17 June 1959 as the firstborn to her parents Ursula and Uric.
We discovered a LinkedIn profile with her name from the same place that she resides in. It states that Wendy is a Library Media Specialist at Prince William County Schools.
