BreighAnn Judon met Matthew Judon through a dating app at Grand Valley State. At the time Matthew’s career was thriving for the Lakers. The first night they had their first date was jeopardized. When BreighAnn walked over to meet him, his family was in the living room, too. His brothers had come to Allendale, Michigan, for a surprise visit.
Matthew opened up about the night and reflected, “I was like, ‘Damn, we can’t even go out. I ain’t about to leave my brothers here,”
The dating couple tied the knots in June 2018.
About eight months after meeting for the first time, they started dating each other. In 2014, she became pregnant with Aniyah who was born in June 2015. In February 2019, BreighAnn, pregnant again, went to the hospital emergency room with Matthew because she felt unwell.
They waited, relieved, to be freed after a nurse informed them that she had detected a fetal heartbeat. Then a doctor came up to them and told them that they had a miscarriage. BreighAnn, on the other hand, had never imagined that her second pregnancy would be any different than her first.
BreighAnn was upset for a week and a half and Matthew tried to comfort her while he was also grieving. He assured her that she was not to blame and that everything had happened as it should. “I feel like she takes it personally because it was in her body,” he said.
Sadly, BreighAnn had to tell her daughter that she had to wait for a sibling as Aniyah wished for a brother or a sister. But, Aniyah’s wish was fulfilled because her mother became pregnant again. Matthew and BreighAnn gave birth to their second child Leonidas on 16 January 2020.
The couple was blessed again with their third child on 10 November 2021.
