Brit Prawat was adopted as an infant. So, she never had information about her biological parents, and she never care to learn about them as well. She said that trying to learn about them would have been a “big betrayal” to her adoptive parents.
Talking about her adoptive parents, they struggled with infertility for over a decade. And after she was adopted and was just under a year old, they got pregnant with her sister Courtney, and then two and half years later got pregnant with her brother Zachary.
Recalling her childhood, Brit said that she has had an incredibly positive experience as a child and always felt loved, supported, and chosen. This was also the reason why she chose to adopt two children of her own.
