Caleb Willingham was born to his father Henry Louis Willingham. His dad was born on 8 March 1935 to Nellie Woods and Henry Willingham in Decatur, Alabama. His father was one of the 14 siblings born to his parents.
Henry was educated at Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky. In Evansville, he worked for Signal Delivery, which hauled goods for Whirlpool, Black Beauty, and other businesses.
