Meet Caryn Nathanson, Jeff Zucker Wife

Jeff Zucker was previously married to his former wife Caryn Nathanson. They met each other while working at NBC. Jeff and Caryn shared their wedding vows on 1 June 1996 in Pierre Hotel. Rabbi Amy Ehrlich performed the ceremony in New York. The married couple shared four children; three sons and a daughter.

After Jeff’s colon cancer diagnosis, he had slowed down a little bit, careerwise. He told Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine in 2004, “It put my life into perspective. I want to win and win honorably. But heck, it’s only television.” Jeff said the health scare also prompted him to spend more time with his wife and their four children.

Their eldest son Andrew (born 1998) previously worked for New Jersey Senator Cory Booker’s Internet start-up, WayWire.

Jeff and Caryn stayed married until 2018 and separated after 21 years together. Their divorce was reportedly finalized in 2019. After their split, they released a joint statement, “Together, we have made the difficult decision to separate, but do so as friends committed to our kids. They remain our sole focus.”

A source revealed to Page Six, “It can’t be easy being married to Jeff – he is a workaholic and is obsessed with the news, and obsessed with being the best. Caryn is much more laid back and social, spends a lot of time with their kids, and enjoys being part of the Upper East Side social circuit.”

The source close to Caryn also added, “They’ve had their problems over the years. Things have been bad for 10 years, but they have now accepted their marriage is over, and he has moved out of their apartment.”

Amid divorce, Jeff put his New York City apartment on the Upper East Side for sale for $17.5 million. They had purchased the apartment in 2007 for $12.3 million.

The divorce of the couple was partly blamed for her husband’s affair with her staffer Allison Gollust. The affair came to light after failing to disclose his relationship with Allison when he was being interviewed as part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo.

Allison and Jeff claimed that their romance started during COVID. However, media sources revealed to DailyMail that romance predates the pandemic and was an open secret in the CNN offices. They reportedly lived in the same apartment building with their families.

Jeff admitted to lying about when the romance began during the investigation. He told, “I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong.” “As a result, I am resigning today” he added.
