Elizabeth, who gave birth to Chloe at a young age, believed her daughter would not follow in her footsteps and even urged her to postpone having children.
The pregnancy was a wonderful surprise because Chloe had battled endometriosis and polycystic ovaries, and Elizabeth had never imagined being a grandmother.
Elizabeth explained: ‘Becoming a grandma at 37 was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was just a miracle that came out of a bad situation with Chloe being so unwell. When she got pregnant it was a shock, but it was a welcomed shock as she’s still doing her A-levels, but she’s doing it from home and her baby is now in the midst of it all.”
She added, “I went through some bad times when Chloe was young, so I’ve always encouraged education and being a parent later.”
Elizabeth continued, “I think her having a baby saved her life, it’s something she’s always dreamt of as we were worried it would never happen because of her endometriosis – it was a real blessing. She is the best mother to Elizabeth-Hope as she was in a bad place before from being so unwell, yet she’s taken to it like a duck to water. People are always shocked I’m a grandma. People think I’m the mum, but I point out Chloe is the mum. I get told I look too young to be a grandma.”

The symptoms included; abdominal pain, periods that stop you doing day-to-day activities, pain when peeing or pooing, heavy periods, pain during or after sex, infertility, and constipation and/or diarrhoea among a few others.
