Love Is Blind season 5 premiered on 22 September 2023, and one of the 15 men appearing this season is Chris Fox.
Chris, who has a habit of “[going] for the wrong women,” hopes to reverse this trend by falling in love with his best friend in the pods. His longest relationship, which lasted three years, was complicated by repressing emotions and communication problems. Since becoming single, Chris has become disillusioned with dating apps because he only matches with women who “seem to not be looking for the commitment” he needs in a committed relationship that would last a lifetime. Chris Fox is the son of Shelly Lawless Main and Martin Fox. His dad Martin turned 66 in December 2022. On the other hand, his mom Shelly reached age 58 in August 2023.

In the U.S. Attorney’s indictment that was unsealed Tuesday, Martin was alleged to have funneled money from William “Rick” Singer to Lisa “Niki” Williams to arrange for students to earn sufficiently high marks on the ACT to be admitted to elite universities.
Martin was sentenced Friday to three months in prison and three months of home detention. He was also ordered to pay a $95,000 fine, complete 250 hours of community service, and remain on supervised release for 15 months after serving his prison term.
Martin had pleaded guilty in November 2019 to racketeering conspiracy. He admitted serving as a middleman between William “Rick” Singer, the Newport Beach college consultant at the heart of the scheme, and several university coaches and a teaching assistant whom Singer sought to bribe.
