Classically Abby is best known as the sister of Ben Shapiro, an American conservative political commentator, and media host. She is also a conservative influencer. She first rose to fame after her father uploaded two videos of her performing opera arias “Hello! Oh, Margaret, It’s You” and “Adieux de l’hôtesse arabe” went viral on social media.

But, Abby broke the sad news to her fans with a YouTube video named ‘I had a miscarriage in May 2021. She opened up in the video, “We lost our baby at 12 weeks. It was actually at 10 weeks that the baby stopped growing. And at 12 weeks we found out because they did not have ultrasounds every week.”
They had “seen the heartbeat,” she said. Abby added further, “I knew that the miscarriage rate dropped once you’ve seen your baby’s heartbeat and so I wasn’t afraid. So when I did have a miscarriage, it felt like it came out of the left field and I was so not prepared emotionally for that… It was really hard… Thank God, I was with my whole family for Passover… it meant I had a ton of support.”
Abby also addressed the grieving process and confirmed that it wasn’t a straight line. She also shared that she considers herself a mom even though she could never meet her baby.
Abby and her husband, Jacob are expecting a new baby which they announced with their YouTube channel. The video was posted in October 2021.
