Comedian Alex Stein went viral after rapping about Ukraine and Vladimir Putin at a Plano City Council meeting. He presented himself wearing a navy blue suit and yellow tie and began rapping about the Ukraine-Russia war. The video has earned 6.9 million views on Twitter whereas the same video has been watched 107K times on his YouTube.
Alex introduces himself as “Primetime 99 Alex Stein” and raps, “Go insane, for Ukraine, a bullet in Putin’s brain!”. He also paid tribute to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy: “Zelenskyy! Is a VIP! Ukraine and I go insane.” “I am a Zelenskyy stan! I love you, Volodymyr Zelenskyy!” he added.
He rapped further, “One more time, I’m 99, you know I grind and shine. Gas prices way too high, Vladimir Putin, needs to die!”.
Alex explained that he intended to draw attention to what was going on in Ukraine by doing something absurd so that people would look up more information on Russia’s invasion on Google.
