Curtis Kantsa features in this Netflix’s 10-episode sci-fi series The Last Bus as Danny. The show is promised to be a thrilling ride as it stars starring After Life‘s Tom Basden and The Umbrella Academy‘s Robert Sheehan and follows a ragtag bunch of school children attending the launch of ‘genie orbs’; robots designed to clean up the environment.

Unlike costars in The Last Bus, Marlie Morrelle, and Phoebe De Silva, who was chosen from a nationwide search for their first acting roles, Curtis has been a part of a couple of projects already. He appeared in the acclaimed crime drama Blue Story in 2019, when he played the role of Tiny Madder. In 20202, he landed just as significant a role in a KFC advert (2020).
Curtis also notably appeared in the short film entitled Step Back, which is a cross between a drama and a sci-fi. Curtis featured in the project alongside the multi-award-winning comedy legend Angie Le Mar and another legend Xavien Russell. When the story was first presented to him, Curtis said he was very moved by it. He said he had immediately thought that this “hopeful, heartfelt, empowering” film needed to be seen by young boys from everywhere.
