Finding love when you’re on the autism spectrum can be hard; especially when you’ve set a certain standard for a partner. But Dani Bowman wasn’t settling for anything less than her ideal one. Thus, she joined Love on the Spectrum U.S. to find someone who could match her energy.

Dani Bowman On Love On The Spectrum
After a breakout success of the Australian docuseries Love on the Spectrum, the franchise aired its first American version on May 18, 2022, and it saw Dani Bowman amongst other participants, with high hopes of finding the perfect partner.
However, being on the autism spectrum means a lot of specificities. She wanted someone kind, who respected her boundaries, somebody very diligent in his work, and very loyal. “We are independent, but at the same time depend on one another,” she explained.
Also, she wanted her first date to be phone-free. “We would engage and talk about our interests and talk about how our businesses are going and what are our dreams and goals of going on a date,” she shared.
Joining Dani this season were her co-stars — Abbey, Steve, Subodh, James, and Kaelynn.
All excited for the premiere Dani took it to her IG on May 5 to write, “It’s finally out!!! I’m on @netflix ‘s “Love On the Spectrum U.S.” Finally I can talk about it! Yay!! The suspense was killing me!”
It seems that Dani kept the filming a secret for over 2 years. And when she finally was able to speak, she mentioned that the show was so respectful and caring to their need as they navigated the world of dating and relationships.
Is Dani Bowman Dating Anyone?
Dani Bowman was pursuing a possible relationship with Adan on Love on the Spectrum U.S. But it is unclear if she is still dating him now.
Initially, Dani was set up with a guy named Solomon, and during their first date, it seemed clear they were hitting it off. The duo had a lot in common including their major life goals, hopes for the future, and even their dislikes.
At the end of their date, they even shared a quick kiss. But as Dani got home, her thoughts changed. Realizing the kiss was uncomfortable and things were moving too fast, she started having doubts about Solomon.
However, she did agree to go on a second date and get to know Solomon better. Unfortunately, Solomon insisted on kissing her again, and that was when Dani realized that he definitely wasn’t the right person for her.
So, after cutting her ties with Solomon, Dani then decided to try to speed dating and that’s where she met a guy named Adan. The two connected immediately on their first date at a Japanese restaurant, and things progressed from thereon.
Reportedly, meanwhile, she was with Adan, she decided to give Solomon a second chance and went on a date with him. However, things didn’t seem to work out, and Dani and Solomon went their separate ways for good.

She was the third-youngest participant this season, the youngest being Abbey at 24, and second-youngest being Kaelynn at 25.
Dani Bowman Job
Dani Bowman is an animator who has worked in the animation industry ever since she was 14. She’s animated 9 award-winning animated short films at Comic-Con each year for straight 8 years. Her shorts feature the voices of Joe Mantegna, Tom Kenny (Sponge Bob), June Foray, Debi Derryberry, and Stella Ritter, among others.
As of 2022, Dani was working as the chief creative officer at DaniMation Entertainment, which she founded back in March 2009. Her company provided talent development programs to individuals with artists on the autism spectrum and other disabilities while also delivering award-winning 2D animation for entertainment and industry.
According to DaniMation Entertainment’s official website, Dani didn’t speak until she was six years old and it was nearly impossible to carry on a conversation with her even at age eleven. Her only way to express her feelings was the drawings of her original characters all over the house on every loose piece of paper she could find.
“So, one day she presented a hand-made book held together with staples to Sandy and said that she wants to sell her books. Sandy looked at the book and says, “While it’s a nice book, no one is going to buy it.” Dani walked away, head down and dejected, saying “No one ever listens to me.” We started listening and encouraged her interest in art and animation and Danimation Entertainment was born,” they recalled.
Overall, Dani is a birlliamnt animator. And thanks to her talent, she’s met the most notable people including the likes of Jack Black, Joe Mantegna, and Kobe Bryant.
As for her education, she as received her MBA and Bachelor’s degree from Woodbury University in 2020 and 2018 respectively.
Fun Fact: Dani has also worked with Joey Travolta, brother of actor John Travolta, on many different projects.

Dani Bowman Family
Dani Bowman didn’t exactly have the best childhood. She confessed that she was “the child that brought fear, pain, and tears to (her) parents’ eyes.” Though her dad was carefree and took her to his workshop and let her spend all day alone in a back room of his shop, her mother Myrna Vielma, tried hard to keep her out of trouble because she was so hyper.
“I would not sit still for 2 minutes. I would ignore them when they would call out my name. And would not look into their eyes and I did not talk till I was 5 or 6 years old,” Dani recalled.
So, after Dani’s mother tried her best to keep the family together, with no help from Dani’s dad whatsoever, she sent Dani to live with her aunt and uncle. And it was there where she learned she was autistic and they gave her all the love and care she deserved.
To this day, Dani is grateful to her aunt and uncle, Sandra Vielma and Patrick Eidemiller.
Besides then, Dani’s family members include Alfonso Lopez (uncle), Carolyn Rees (aunt), Destiny Dayna Lopez (cousin), and Hortensia Gonzoles (grandmother)
