Meet Danya Mohammed AKA Diva Dee, the wife of Dubai Bling star DJ Bliss. In this new journey, she also accompanied her husband. After the premiere of the show, she spoke to Harper’s Bazaar.
When we asked Danya about her experience filming Dubai Bling and why she decided to go ahead with the exciting project, the vlogger shared her enthusiasm and said, “It was a fun experience filming Dubai Bling. Being a fan of reality TV myself, I was super excited to be part of this project. I decided to do this show because I wanted to try something new and step outside my comfort zone and show a different side of me that most of my audience might not have seen.”

Danya Mohammed, star of Dubai Bling, is married to a fellow cast member, DJ Bliss. The pair exchanged their wedding vows in March 2015 in front of 600 guests of which Danya only knew around 50. In April 2020 post, she stated, “Here’s another one of my favorite pictures from our wedding 5 years ago. This was the second half of the wedding and I only knew 50 of the 600 guests that attended. But still was magical and so memorable. Love you baby always and forever ”
The married couple now shares two children; a son named Zayed and a daughter named Meera. Zayed turned 4 years old in September 2022.
One such couple whose chemistry captured the eye of the audience was Danya and her husband, who appeared together in a Netflix series. Marwan-Al-Awadhi, alias DJ Bliss, was introduced in “Dubai Bling” as Ebraheem Al Samadi’s close friend with relationship advice to provide. The audience first saw Marwan’s wife, Danya Mohammed, better known as Diva Dee, when the artist visited an appointment with a plastic surgeon in order to avoid working out and, presumably, acquire artificial six-pack abs.
Danya, on the other hand, wasn’t as enthusiastic and didn’t understand why the treatment was necessary. When DJ Bliss stated that people in his line frequently removed their shirts on stage and he wanted to look good for the same, she vehemently objected and abhorred the idea of other women seeing her husband’s bare body. Danya was taken to the recording studio by Marwan shortly after, where he surprised her with a brand-new song that he had composed particularly for her.
The musician’s wife was overjoyed to receive a jewelry set he gave her for Valentine’s Day. The two then made an effort to talk more, and Marwan asked Danya whether she had any issues with his work. He was allegedly surrounded by female dancers, which she claimed she disliked. She had previously expressed her concerns to her husband, but she stopped doing so when she felt he was not listening.

She said, “The person that actually inspired me to start my own YouTube channel was my husband DJ Bliss. He started his channel first and was doing daily vlogs which inspired me to challenge myself and start my own channel and edit my own videos. I initially started with travel vlogs but then moved into the make-up and beauty field as it was something I was personally passionate about.”
Danya, who launched her YouTube channel in January 2019, saw DJ Bliss’ enthusiasm for content creation and, wanting to challenge herself, began producing and editing her own videos for the platform. The reality TV personality initially made travel-related vlogs but quickly transitioned into the makeup and beauty category given her personal affinity for both.
Danya quickly gained more fans, and at the moment she has 147k followers on Instagram and 119k subscribers on her YouTube channel. In addition to creating content, Danya is an entrepreneur and a brand ambassador for a number of companies, including Gaffe Studios, Gucci, Mahallati Jewellery, and Bambini Fashions. She had made appearances on other TV programs before joining the Netflix reality series.
