Dusty Harris, best friend since the eighth grade of a TV shows and podcast host Ryan Ferguson, joined the latter on The Amazing Race. Ryan shared that Dusty was one of the very few people who had been with him from the very start and during the time he was in prison. Ryan and Dusty competed against 20 other cast members to bag the grand prize of $1 million.
Although Ryan is no stranger to TV shows, his friend is a newbie to this lifestyle. They showed that they are a formidable team in the competition and someone to watch out for.
While speaking with Columbia Missourian, Ryan clarified that the producers from the show contacted with about competing in the show. They asked him to join the show with a friend and the first person that came to his mind was Dusty, his best friend.
Speaking with Post Independent, Dusty revealed, “What’s miraculous about this season is not only am I getting to do this with a friend of mine who lost 10 years of his life, it went through the only pandemic that we all probably will experience.”
In the past, the race is known to put stress on contestants’ relationships but Dusty confidently revealed that nothing was going to intervene between them. Dusty told KRCGtv.com, “Our friendship is going to stand out this season. It’s going to be the strong suit that you see between the two of us.”
“Getting to see the planet with one of my best buddies and make up for 10 years of lost time is extremely important to me,” Dusty said to Columbia Daily Tribune.
