PageSix confirmed that Charlie Sheen’s neighbor Electra Schrock has been charged with felony assault for allegedly assaulting the Two and a Half Men star in his house last week. Electra is accused of one count of assault with a deadly weapon or force likely to cause grave bodily harm by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The story was first reported by TMZ, which states that the 47-year-old is being held on $75,000 bail until her arraignment. Prosecutors also requested a criminal protective order – commonly called a restraining order – which the judge approved.
‘You are required to follow this protective order,’ Judge Reid told Schrock. ‘Do you understand?’
‘I do,’ Electra said.
After allegedly breaking into Sheen’s house with force and starting to choke the 58-year-old actor, Electra was taken into custody on December 20, 2023.
When Charlie Sheen answered the door to Electra’s Malibu apartment, she tore his shirt and tried to choke him, according to police sources who spoke with TMZ at the time. When Electra subsequently went back to her house, the police took her into custody.
The nature of the disagreement is unclear. The outlet was reportedly informed by law enforcement sources that Charlie had problems with Electra before the purported attack. The day before the police were called, Sheen allegedly informed them that the woman had just emptied the trash in front of his door and thrown an unknown sticky substance on his car.
Charlie hasn’t addressed the confrontation in public, but last week he told People that he intended to spend a “calm” and “sane” Christmas despite the chaos. At her arraignment on Tuesday, Electra entered a not-guilty plea. The judge then granted her a criminal protection order, ordering her to keep all distance from the actor and his home.
Soon after the incident, Charlie’s concerned parents, Janet, 79, and Martin Sheen, 83, of The West Wing, who also reside in Malibu, hurried to check on their son, DailyMail.com can reveal. Charlie opened the door to his quite small second-floor flat and was attacked. Randy Kaplan, Electra’s public counsel, informed the court that his client has been convicted of two misdemeanors in the past.
