Erik’s father is Chino Hernandez. Back in 2018, when Erik made it to the cast of Aladin, we saw him congratulate Erik on social media. Like this, the patriarch has more than once gushed on social media that he is super proud of his son.
Also so you know, Chino in his days, studied Computer engineering at Tampa Technical Institute and graduated in 1987. He is also known as Humberto N Hernandez and he turned 55 years old in September 2022. Other than that, Chino had been residing in Celina, Texas as of now. And of course, he and Erik’s mom Lorraine Busigo Wangler are no longer together.
On 29 June 2021, Erik’s mom and her now husband John Wangler celebrated their 18th anniversary. “I can’t wait to see what the next 18 has in store for us”, Lorraine at the time gushed on a social media post. Erik’s stepfather, John Wangler, played quarterback at the University of Michigan from 1977-80 and later for the Michigan Panthers, and his two stepbrothers also played at U-M. Hernandez started out playing sports, including tennis, hockey, soccer, and basketball.
Erik has a bunch of siblings and only one of them is a full sibling, his sister Jaleeza Hernandez-Wangler (on IG @jaleezalh).
Brothers Jack Wangler and Jared Wangler, and sisters Halle Wangler and Sierra Wangler, are likely his half-siblings.
