Flau’Jae Johnson On Raising a F***ing Star
E!’s Raising a F***ing Star premiered on September 8, 2022, and it followed four parents who believed their child had what it takes to be the next household name. Pretty interesting right? But though the show sounds innovative, it was based on Bravo’s short-lived 2004 series Showbiz Moms & Dads.
Now coming to Flau’Jae, she’s a talented rapper who received the golden buzzer from Chris Hardwick on America’s Got Talent 2018 performing her original song “I can’t lose.” Also, thanks to a rapper’s blood flowing through her, Flau’Jae previously took her talent to The Rap Game 2016, where she was the youngest in the group.
Guess, Flau’Jae’s already a star.
However, you can never be too popular. Flau’Jae and her family have now signed up for the inaugural season of Raising a F***ing Star.

After Camoflauge’s death, his friends Master P, Birdman, and Lil Boosie among others recognized Flau’jae’s early talents and mentored her to become a successful rapper to carry her father’s legacy.
But besides carrying her father’s will, Flau’Jae also confessed that she has learned the importance of leaving her own mark on the world. And her mother Kia is here to make sure that she does!
According to Flau’Jae’s mother, her daughter was destined to succeed but the internet is not always a kind place. “It was a roller coaster because the internet was in full effect and people were so mean to her,” she explained. However, she wants Flau’Jae to keep rapping to remain close to her father.
As of 2022, Kia was married to Ameen Brooks (Flau’Jae’s stepdad). And surprisingly, she only told Flau’Jae about her biological dad when she turned 7.
