Frankie Solarik On Drink Masters
Netflix’s competitive show Drink Masters was all about making memorable and unique drinks for a grand prize of $100,000. Twelve competitors including Frankie Solarik participated in its inaugural season and they were eliminated one by one unable to please the judges Julie Reiner and Frankie Solarik.
The show was different. Though it obviously followed the competition format made popular by Top Chef, this was all about mixing drinks. But is mixing drink that hard? You may feel like unlike food that takes more than an hour to cook, it’s just measuring liquids and pouring them into a glass. But the process is much more complex than that.
Mixologists use upscale Jello shots, deconstructed three-part drinks, use dry ice, and more. And what’s even more tiresome is to come up with h such complex recipes.
In total, Drink Masters featured 10 episodes, with its premiere episode airing on October 28, 2022.
How Much Is Frankie Solarik Net Worth?
Frankie Solarik flaunted a net worth of around $4.5 million in 2022.
Ever since 18, Frankie has been curious about making mocktails. His first job was at The Cigar Box in London, Ontario, and there he got to mainly serve Cognac and single malts and quickly learned the ways of mixing drinks and started implementing his creativity.
Fast forward to 2008, Frankie then opened his own bar, Bar Chef (voted one of the top 7 new bars in the world by Food & Wine magazine), and made a huge impact on the city and drinks in general. There he worked behind a bar crowded with more than 30 spiced infusions and subtle elixirs in various flasks and jars. His masterpiece was a smoked Vanilla Manhattan — a $45 cocktail set in a bell jar filled with hickory smoke until it smelled like a campfire.
Even today, his approach is to create a new perspective, work with new ingredients, and new flavor profiles. Or as some say the “modernist approach.”
Thanks to his talent, Frankie was also appointed as Toronto’s ambassador to molecular mixology and was later invited to offer his wisdom at Bar Convent Berlin in 2018. Yes! He’s now a Keynote Speaker as well. Infact, he charged $10,000 – $20,000 for a live event.
When Frankie wasn’t working, he himself likes to go to the Hideout to “go do some shots.” Also, he loved visiting Origin for a drink. Infact, he found the place to be really inspirational. “I get ideas you know, from specific components of a particular dish. And so then I rush back and try to work something out in terms of a drink,” he explained.
As for his education, Frankie attended Saunders Secondary School and later studied Administration/Marketing at George Brown College.

Yes, as of 2022, Frankie Solarik is married to his lovely wife Leanne Neufeld. They tied the knot back on June 9, 2012.
On their 10 anniversary, Frankie took it to his IG to write, “My partner in adventure for 10 years today. An amazing mother, wife, and amazingly talented Creative Director of the entire @barchef brand. Proud to know her and even prouder to be married to her. “
In case you’re confused, Leanne also works with Frankie as an in-house photographer for BarChef Toronto. “Honestly my wife is one of the best in the game,” Frankie praised her.
As for their kids, Frankie and Leanne share two sons named Kai and Lennox Dash Solarik.
Their son, Kai @MiniBarChef was born on September 3, 2006, while Lennox arrived in January 2022.
On Kai’s 16th birthday, Frankie shared that his son taught him way more lessons than he could ever teach him. “We’ve been inseparable. My best bud, an amazing big brother to Lennox, we’ve had so many amazing adventures,” Frankie added.
Talking about birthdays, Leanne celebrates hers on December 16 and is of the Sagittarius zodiac.
