Glenda inquired about it, instead of rescuing the young Laotian immigrant from Jeffrey, who has since confessed to murdering and mutilating 17 men over the past 13 years, the cops seem to laugh off the incident as a gay love spat. The officers told their dispatcher that “an intoxicated Asian naked male” was returned to his “sober boyfriend.”
They delivered the 14-year- old to Jeffrey’s apartment. And as soon as they leave, the serial killer reportedly proceeds to strangle the boy and dismember his body.
“I just want to get back to normal,” she told one of the many reporters who called and showed up at her home next door to the Oxford Apartments where Jeffrey Dahmer lived.
The shock and rage that has engulfed Milwaukee. Ever since the decomposing remains of 11 corpses were discovered in Dahmer’s modest apartment in 1991 were compounded by the revelation of police department radio and telephone transcripts that appeared to indicate how severely the cops had made a mistake.
Only after coming across another victim who was running away and telling them that Jeffrey Dahmer was trying to kill him did the police make their terrible discovery. Black and gay leaders have accused police of years of prejudice and neglect after noticing that the majority of Dahmer’s victims were non-White and several were homosexual.

No, Glenda Cleveland passed away on 24 December 2011 due to a natural cause, alone in an apartment not far from where she made the famous phone call. Neighbors had become concerned after not seeing her for a few days. The medical examiner’s office ruled it was a natural death caused by heart disease and high blood pressure. Her daughter blamed it on the cigarette habit her mother could not kick.
There was no funeral. Although a memorial service was planned for spring when family and friends can more easily travel here from Cleveland’s birth state of Mississippi and other places.
She stayed on 25th St. until 2009, her daughter said, and had lived alone since then in an apartment less than a mile away at 32nd and Wisconsin.
