Hailey Brown played high school basketball for St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School. She played for the Rise Center Academy and was ranked a top prospect by ESPN HoopGurlz. After her career as a collegiate athlete, she played as part of the Canadian national team in 2013.
With the effort of Hailey and her teammates, their team successfully secured silver at FIBA U16 World Championships in Mexico. Again in 2015, she was the team member of the Canadian basketball that played in the 2015 FIBA U16 Americas and earned the gold medal.
Moreover, Hailey played in the U17 FIBA World Championships and the U18 FIBA Americas, winning a silver in the latter.
Hailey was consistent with her game and this helped her secure a place on the national women’s cadet teams. Along the way, it helped her build an NCAA career eventually. While she was a senior in high school, The University of Michigan Wolverines had their eyes on her.
Hence, she ended up joining the university and started her freshman year in 2017, and played for Wolverines.
After college, Hailey didn’t pursue a career as a pro-basketball player. Instead, she joined the Missing Children Society of Canada where she interned as a Digital Communications Co-ordinator for two months. While there, she was responsible for working on the companies social media platforms. She constantly had to update and publish new content and was responsible for networking with potential donors.
