Meet Harley Hunt, Letecia Stauch Daughter
In April 2023, Harley Hunt took the stand in the murder trial for her mother/stepmother Letecia Stauch who was charged with first-degree murder, and 12 other charges pertaining to the death of her stepson Gannon Stauch. Her mother was accused of killing her stepson in Colorado, putting his body in a suitcase, and dumping it off a bridge in Florida on Feb. 4, 2020.
Recalling the day, Harley shared, “[Letecia] said that she asked to come home by like 5 or 6 and that we were going to go eat sushi. When the time had gone by and he didn’t get back, she was like, I guess he didn’t want to eat sushi. And then after that, we started looking for him.”
She said that her mom looked “worried” at the time and together, they drove to a friend of Gannon’s and learned he wasn’t there. Thereafter, the two left the state on a road trip in a white van her mother rented. “The destination changed multiple times. I remember she just kept saying, ‘Where do you want to live?’” she detailed.
Prosecutor Dave Young then asked her if she noticed anything unusual or smelled anything in the back of the van. Acknowledging what the attorneys were asking — that if she smelled Gannon’s body in a suitcase while on the road — she replied, “The thought just never came across my mind, I just never thought my mom would do that. I never even questioned it, it just never came up.”
Later, she also denied that she helped her mother “throw that suitcase over a bridge in Pensacola, Florida”
The last Harley saw her mother was in March 2020 on the day of her arrest — a month after the tragic night.
Where Is Harley Hunt Today?
Today, as of April 2023, Harley Hunt is mashed up in her mother’s murder trial. She’s concerned that she might be charged with a crime based on her trip to Florida.
However, Harley said she flew out to Colorado to give a statement “because it was the right thing to do,” although there was no guarantee she wouldn’t be charged if she talked.
Just prior to this, Harley left the country just weeks to the Caribbean to see her “long-distance boyfriend.” She even featured her preparation on her TikTok where she showed off a new suitcase and new clothes she purchased for the trip.

Admittedly, Harley Hunt lost both her father Chance M. Hunt and her mother on October 22, 2014. After her parents’ death, she was struggling with navigating her way through life and getting herself back on her feet. “I had to provide myself a place to stay, transportation, college, and everyday necessities for livelihood. I never really asked for help during this time and always tried to figure out everything on my own. It was a struggle filled with both highs and lows,” she explained.
Her father, Chance was born on August 1, 1980, in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of the late Tammy Lamb Chavis and Claudie Mack Hunt.
Now, for those of you confused, Letecia Stauch is Harley’s stepmother. Her biological mother married Al Stauch (Gannon’s father) and later Al married Letecia.
Also, from Chance’s marriage with Renee Holmes, Harley has a half-brother named Garret.
Did you know: In April 2023. Harley started a gofundme campaign titled “Anything Helps,” seeking $5000 to buy a car. She had recently lost her car at the time and was missing classes and work because of it.

In 2023, Harley Hunt was in a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend Tramone Hester a.k.a. Dr. Trey.
The two only got into the “long-distance” thing in Jan 2023 after Tramone left to pursue his journey at veterinarian school. “The distance will be difficult, but I’m happy I can be a part of this amazing journey with you. You are the most hard-working person I know. I never doubt anything you set out to do. I will always be one of your biggest supporters through it all,” she dedicated an IG post to her boyfriend.
Also, she added that it was Tramone who helped her grow and strengthen. “You always push me to do my best. I couldn’t be any more grateful for you. your family has taken me in and made me feel like there own,” she explained.
