Netflix’s American Apocalypse: Meet Jim Cavanaugh, Waco ATF Agent

Jim Cavanaugh appeared in two episodes of Waco: American Apocalypse. On the show, he explains how he and Gary Noesner were two key special agents involved in the infamous 51-day standoff. As the former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and FBI agent, he and Gary are seen detailing their change in command that nearly curtailed all negotiations with cult leader David Koresh.

The new series features exclusive access to recently excavated videotapes filmed inside the FBI Crisis Negotiation Unit, as well as raw news footage never released to the American public, and FBI recordings.
