Meet Jodi Hildebrandt, ConneXions Founder Arrested Over Child Abuse Charges
Jodi Hildebrandt and Ruby Franke started the YouTube channel called ConneXions Classroom, a life coaching service based in Utah, described as “a different modality of healing that psychotherapy cannot offer you”.
According to its website, ConneXions “is a different modality of healing that psychotherapy cannot offer you,” with Hildebrandt developing courses and treatments focused on helping with “ravenous additions, feelings of worthlessness or inadequacy, conflicts in relationships, intimacy problems, communication breakdowns, and frankly any block that prevents having and creating peace and joy.”
Ruby made the announcement in June 2022. Viewers immediately expressed concern about Ruby and Jodi’s channel. In one video, she seems to imply that rap* victims had a “choice.” Children don’t deserve privacy or unwavering devotion, according to Ruby in another.
Shari Franke, the eldest of the Franke children, declared in September 2022 that she had cut off all communication with her family and that she did not concur with “the extreme beliefs” of ConneXions. She cautioned her supporters, nevertheless, to “please remember that this is my real family.” Ruby’s husband, Kevin Franke, was originally connected with ConneXions as well, although he hasn’t been seen in the media in a while.
Jodi along with Ruby were arrested in Ivins, Utah on August 30 at 9:33 p.m. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office website lists them as being “in custody.” Officials told Insider that the arrest followed a complaint of a hungry and injured toddler pleading for assistance.
According to a statement from the Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department, around 10.50 a.m., a caller who wished to remain anonymous reported seeing a youngster who “appeared to be emaciated and malnourished, with open wounds and duct tape around the extremities.”
“The juvenile was asking for food and water,” the statement said, and was in a condition “so severe that they were seen by Santa Clara-Ivins EMS and transported to a local area hospital.”
A second malnourished youngster was discovered inside the residence by the Springville Police Department and was sent to the hospital, according to the statement. According to the statement, police acquired a search warrant, placed four unidentified children in protective custody, and then detained Ruby and Jodi.

He was the Chief Resident while there and received an award for Excellence in Teaching. He is bilingual in Spanish and has used his language skills to benefit students and patients.
Brent is now married to his wife Hillary and has four children.

Jodi Hildebrandt was born to Florence (Loren) Haynie Hildebrandt and Jay Hildebrandt. Her parents married at Arizona Temple on June 26, 1959. They were married for 56 years and blessed with 7 children.
Florence grew up in the Gila Valley and graduated from Pima High School and The Gila Academy where she excelled in academics, art, and drama. She continued her education at Northern Arizona University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Between April 2008 and March 2010, she “discussed sensitive private information” about two clients, a couple, with members of the Mormon Church and Brigham Young University, according to records from the Utah Department of Commerce’s Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
In March 2009, Jodi, “without having received signed authorizations or any other type of permission” from a patient, “disclosed sensitive confidential information” about a male client, “including a medical diagnosis,” with the Honor Code Office at BYU, the documents say.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported in 2012 that the unnamed client said Hildebrandt’s allegations, including some regarding an alleged porn addiction, were all untrue and caused him to lose his church privileges and be expelled from BYU.
“She spent hardly any time knowing about my life,” the unnamed client told the Tribune. “She didn’t want to talk about my personal goals or my progress. She would only threaten me that if I didn’t take more sessions and have my wife take more sessions, the alleged addiction would destroy my life.”
