Joel Silvius And Molly Roloff’s Relationship
The story of Joel Silvius and Molly Roloff began during their time at Whitworth University. At the time, both were undergraduates and deeply in love. Years after enjoying the dating bliss, Joel then popped the question to Molly in December 2016, in the presence of nearly all members of the Roloff family.
Sharing the joy, Molly’s parents guessed over the engagement over their IG’s, and her sister-in-law Tori even accompanied her to go dress shopping.
The next year, in August 2017, Joel and Molly then tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of the couple’s families and closest friends. The views were exchanged on the family farm in Oregon at one of Molly’s favorite spots in the woods. Also, several of the family’s beloved goats made a special appearance for the celebration. Yes! “Goats”.
After the ceremony, the two shared their first dances as husband and wife to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing.”
Reportedly, Joel and Molly were together all the way back since 2015.
A year after their marriage, Molly’s father shared an adorable video of himself walking with Jackson on Instagram, captioned, “the family has big news to announce!” And fans were quick to conclude that Molly was pregnant. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Joel Silvius and Molly bought a stunning $300,000 family home in Spokane, Washington in 2018. And naturally, fans were intrigued about what Joel’s job was. Unfortunately, the couple liked to maintain privacy and didn’t tell us about what they were working on then.
In fact, even the news about them purchasing a new home was spilled by Molly’s bother Zach Roloff. After visiting his sister (on April 2020), Zach took it to his IG to write, “My little sister Molly and her husband Joel bought a house!”
Their single-story home in Washington featured four bedrooms, three bathrooms set out over nearly 3000 square feet, and a large garage for two cars, and a front porch, perfect for summer evenings.
They also had a large grassy backyard, suitable for games with the family, and outdoor seating to enjoy large family dinners.
In light of Molly’s career, she has worked as a staff accountant at Moss Admas, an assurance, tax, and consulting services company.

As said before, Joel Silvius is a private person. He rarely talked about his family and was even absent in the pictures from most of the Roloff family functions. For instance, when Molly’s mother visited them with her fiancé Chris Marek, he was nowhere to be seen.
According to Amy, Joel “didn’t get to join in the family fun because he was focused on finishing up his MBA.”
But Joel wasn’t the only one who skips out in family pictures. Molly was also rarely seen over her parent’s IG. She even skipped out her mother’s bridal shower photos. This raised a lot of questions about if she was even there?
