Once labeled “underdog” by his fans Justin Aaron kept offering show-stopping performances on season 22 of The Voice. As he took the stage on 28 November 2022’s Top 10 live show to perform “Just Once” by James Ingram, he not only earned himself the rave reviews of all four coaches but also of some of their parents. Judges John legend and Gwen Stefani gushed that their parents have made it clear that they are voting for him only.

Justin Aaron On The Voice
With the semifinals on the line, the competition is getting tighter and tighter for Justin and his journey. Yet, by now, everyone including judges knows about him — that he can sing whatever song is given to him. No doubt he even made Gwen Stefani cry on live TV with his performance of Tasha Cobbs’ “Break Every Chain”. He was one of the Top 13 contestants when he decided to sing the song that helped to pull him out of depression.
Now, at this point, Justin was moving on to the Top 8 semifinals. He closed out the Top 10 competition with a “cathartic” rendition of “Just Once”.
Looking back it’s breathtaking how Gwen Stefani, showing off her coaching force, has taken Justin from one-chair turn to Season 22 frontrunner. The “Spiderwebs” singer, like us, has always been in awe of our favorite contestant.
Justin started this journey performing “Glory” by Common and John Legend during the blind audition.
Justin Aaron Job
Justin Aaron is a gospel and R&B artist. He previously performed with three other musicians as “Justin Aaron and the Royal Priesthood”. Yet, at this point, he did not appear to have music on streaming sites.
So, for his job, Justin sings and writes songs. He also appears to be leading praise and worship at his church. Reportedly, he was also working as an assistant teacher for the Geary County school district, until this point.

Justin Aaron was born ‘Justin Allen Black’ in 1988. So, he turned 34 years old in 2022.

Annette (on IG @burningember6) was born in October 1966. So, she turned 56 years old in 2022. On her Facebook, she mentioned working, maybe formerly, in the United States Army. She also briefed here about being a former secretary at Geary County Schools USD 475, about studying General Studies/Science at Cloud County Community College, and about going to Junction City Senior High.
Justin is also as much thankful for the rest of his family. He has a bunch of siblings. So on national siblings day, he wrote to them on social media about how he loves them all more than he knows. He also said that there is nothing that he would not do for each one of them. Among the siblings, we know there is brother G.zo (on IG @chevy_rydin_azz_), and a sister named Abreanna Sanders (@abreannasanders).
Justin also mentioned Kyla, his niece, who turned 9 on 22 December 2021, and great-grandmother Georgie who lost her life in April 2022.

For a long time, Justin ran from singing thinking that he was not good enough.
But thongs changed when he learned to accept and love himself and also when he found the loves of his life, first Jesus Christ, then his wife, and then music. Justin said this exactly in this order.
So, yes! Justin Aaron is married. His wife is Kori Reshone, aka Koko B. Queen, and they tied the knot on 18 August 2018. Also, from the looks of their good/old memories on social media, they seemed to have gotten engaged in March 2017. There is a picture of Justin getting down on his knees from that time.
It looks like the twosome has been together since at least 2014.
