Who Are Kevin Kreider Parents?
In Bling Empire, viewers saw the affluent life of Crazy Rich Asian-American living in California. But, Kevin Kreider didn’t share the same background as the rest of the cast members. He had a humble upbringing and more importantly he was an adoptee to a White American family.
His adoptive parents Mark Kreider and Theresa Adams adopted him from Seoul, South Korea when he was only three years old. That was all he knew and he was never curious about his family members until the show when he decided to do a DNA test to unearth information regarding his family members.
Kevin discovers that he was indeed born in Seoul, and also had Japanese heritage. He learned that his parents gave him to his grandfather who put him up for adoption. Kevin experienced a severe breakdown as he remembered his mother’s thoughts of having no children and her fear of getting pregnant. He did get his closure even if he did not learn many specific details about his birth parents.
