Lisa Eisner is a magazine editor, photographer, book publisher, and jewelry designer. Lisa has taken the mother of all scenic routes, a seeker’s journey, one where she could collect, refine, and build on each experience and shiny thing her eye could take in along the way.

In 2014, Lisa debuted her first line of handmade jewelry, and since then she has continued to expand it. She draws inspiration from literally anything beautiful she has ever experienced, including people, flowers, animals, and rocks. Each stone is hand-selected and then set in bronze or gold.

Whether it’s turquoise from an Arizona mine that has long since closed, inky black jade from her home state of Wyoming, or an odd fossilized specimen from an old rock dog, she continues to be influenced by the American West.

Lisa’s Jewelry was inspired by 70’s artist studio pieces. These artisans frequently worked in bronze and created one-of-a-kind, distinctive jewelry pieces that resembled miniature sculptures. Her jewelry specializes in bronze and her goods are handmade.

Cuff bracelets, pendant necklaces, earrings, and chunky rings are all part of the collection, but it’s pieces emblazoned with “CALIFORNIA” that often steal the show.

She writes, “Sometimes I make duplicates if I feel a piece is a classic that can be worn all the time, but most of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind. I don’t like to wear the same jewelry as everyone else, and I understand that you don’t either. For this reason, each piece is handcrafted, with stones unique to that one piece of jewelry.”

The stones she uses comes from Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.

Lisa worked in New York at Mademoiselle, contributed to American Vogue while living in Paris, and later moved back to New York for a position at Ralph Lauren. She found her way to Los Angeles in the 1980s, where she has been living and working as a creative ever since. Best friend and muse to Tom Ford, Eisner launched her eponymous line in 2014, combining her love of the American West with her affinity for fashion and her own irreverent style.
