Andreea Dragoi began making waves last Christmas as she emerged as a college influencer for San Jose State University last year. In the 2022-23 season, she finished 31st overall with a final time of 1:43.50 in the 200-medley relay at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship; took second position in the 200-yard butterfly with a 2:08.11 against UC Davis; clocked a 59.37 in the 100-yard butterfly to take first in the event against CSU East Bay; and recorded a time of 2:05:50 to finish in the top 10 of the 200-yard Butterfly at the Mizzou Invite
She hails from Bucharest, Romania, and got her IB diploma from the International School of Bucharest. In her hometown, she competed in the World and European Junior Championships. Andreea decided to attend SJSU because of its kinesiology, sport management, and psychology programs.
As a junior at San Jose State, Andreea decided to spend her summer as a lifeguard in Florida. To announce her new stint, Andreea posted a video on TikTok, which sort of went viral.
20-year-old Andreea is a model too; she modeled at Bucharest Fashion Week in 2021. She won the Miss Ambassador US Nation Beauty Pageant and Miss California U.S. Nation Pageant. In April 2023, Andreea was announced as the new host of The Ball Out
