Luke Worley, one of the single contestants on this season’s Married At First Sight, trusts Mel, Charlene, and Paul to help him discover the one he’s been searching for all his life.
His bio reads: “Luke’s known as the “funny one” in his hometown and can always be relied upon to crack out a joke. However, despite being a social butterfly, he’s struggled to find a wife and has endured his fair share of rejection over the years. Can the experts find him a woman who will welcome his outgoing personality? Having admitted his dating life is “a mess”, Luke is sick of dating apps and hopes to finally find the girl of his dreams.”
The young man from Essex was paired with Jay Howard, a sales executive, whom he married in the opening scene of the popular reality TV series.
Jay is from Lancashire. The 31-year-old claimed to the experts that she was searching for The One and that she was first concerned about her fiancé’s reaction to her impairment. However, she was ecstatic when Luke reassured her that he was swept away by his new bride.

When asked by HeatWorld if he bonded with the rest of the guys, Luke told heat, “Depends who we’re talking,” which is basically a big fat NO.
Luke continued, “I got on with the majority of the boys. One of the boys I cannot stand and I still can’t stand now. Honestly, can’t stand them.”

Several hints about whether Jay Howard and Luke Worley are still together have been found by certain viewers of the show on both of the reality star’s social media accounts.
Both participants had nothing but happy and good memories of their big day after their wedding episode aired. Sharing a photo of themselves in their stunning wedding outfits, Jay captioned: “OMG What a day that was! I can’t believe the love and support we’ve received all at once @lukeworley1!”
“I’m so grateful for everyone’s kind words honestly you don’t know how much it means to me.” She added: “We had the best day and I can’t wait for you all to watch our journey together, [wink emoji]. So overwhelming but at the same time I still feel like it’s not real!”
Luke posted a similar statement on his Instagram, fueling rumors among followers that they were still blissfully married.
He wrote, “I hope you all enjoyed watching our wedding as much we enjoyed it! It was an amazing day and I couldn’t have wished for it to have gone any better. This will always be a day I will never forget. I cannot wait for you all to see the rest of our journey.”
The last episodes of the current Married at First Sight UK season haven’t yet been broadcast, so fans aren’t yet aware of Jay and Luke’s decision to stay together after their final vows, which customarily occur in the last few episodes of the program. They’re both keeping quiet about what will happen because the show was pre-recorded so as not to ruin it. As a result, viewers will have to wait until the series’ conclusion to learn whether they have persevered.
After the first meeting at the altar, Luke and Jay clicked and had a successful honeymoon before deciding to remain in the social experiment during the first commitment ceremony of the series.
Luke has discussed a requirement that the MAFS UK cast members must adhere to. Luke and Jay were teamed up for the experiment, and viewers of the E4 reality series have seen them stick together through the first two series ceremonies.
Because Luke and Jay have been pictured without their wedding rings, some fans have hypothesized that they might not end up getting married at the end of the season. Luke actually clarified this during an interview with Snoochie Shy on the MAFS UK: It’s Official! podcast, explaining that the cast isn’t yet permitted to wear their rings in public.
“This is actually a fact as well, so you’re not allowed to wear your ring until the final episode’s aired,” Luke told Snoochie. “I get that question a lot. When I was in my local pub, everyone was like, ‘Oh where’s your ring?’ but like, we’re not actually allowed to wear the ring. Everyone has to take it off, so no one knows if you’re together or not.”

Luke of Clacton, was enjoying a lads’ holiday in Kos, Greece, when he struck up a conversation with a girl at a bar in Kardamena Square. Following a few alcoholic drinks, the former Colbayns High School student decided to ask for her number with the hope of meeting up again during the trip.
“She gave me what I thought was her number and we went our separate ways,” Luke said, who is about to launch a weight management and men’s grooming business. After a few more beverages, he eventually decided to call ‘Sarah’ – the girl he had met the night before – to see where she would be watching the crunch match.
He soon realised, however, that she had palmed him off with a fake number… when celebrity television presenter, Maya Jama, answered instead.
Luke said: “At first, I tried to voice call her on WhatsApp, but it disconnected so I decided to call again but on a video call. To my surprise, the call answered and then I saw Maya Jama looking back at me – she was as shocked as I was and she said: ‘Who are you?’ I told her I thought I was calling Sarah. It was a surreal moment and I was nearly speechless. She was great though and we had a short conversation about the Euro’s show she does on the BBC with Peter Crouch and then said our goodbyes.”
Luke has relished his time in the spotlight since his incredible encounter with former Radio 1 presenter Maya, 26, who served as the face of the most recent season of Glow Up.
“It has been crazy and I have had hundreds of messages on social media and calls from big companies,” he added. “I have been contacted by all the newspapers, LadBible, the BBC, and even a clothing brand, but it should all blow over in a week or so.”
