Maia Knight is a mother of fraternal twins named Violet James and Scout Morgan. They were born on 22 March 2021. Their birth and of course TikTok shot Maia to fame. But their birth alone wasn’t why Maia has 2.2 million followers on Instagram, 493K subscribers on YouTube, and 8.8 million followers on TikTok.
Maia documented her raising her daughter. She also shared her story of how her baby father insisted she get an abortion and abandoned her when she was seven weeks pregnant.
‘I randomly decided to take a pregnancy test one morning before heading to work. It was positive,’ she captioned the footage of herself lip-syncing Sarah Cothran’s cover of ‘Grace Kelly’ by Mika. When Maia made an appointment with her OB-GYN, she discovered she was five weeks along with twins.
“After telling [the father], he told me to get an abortion and to stop contacting him when I was seven weeks pregnant,” she recalled. “I moved in with my mom and kept my pregnancy a secret from the world.”
Because of her worries about becoming the sole caregiver for two young kids, Maia claimed she “sank into a deep despair.” “At my 34-week appointment, my OB told me I had preeclampsia and admitted me to the hospital. I started having contractions, went into heart failure, and was taken by ambulance to a hospital three hours away.”
Maia’s twins were born prematurely and spent three weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
“I had two AMAZING little girls that are my best friends and realized I could do this,’ she concluded. ‘I had my family and my friends to support me. All my dreams are coming true.”
Who Is Maia Knight Baby Father?
There have been multiple names scattered here and there regarding the name and identity of Maia Knight’s baby father. One name that surfaced was Alec Hayes. On the Maia Knight sub-Reddit, a few of the fans claimed that they have seen the picture of Maia. Based on the comments, one thing was sure Maia had her twins with a guy younger than her.
In fact, based on the calculations, Maia was likely 23 while the allegedly baby father was 19 or 20. When Maia shared her story on TikTok most people had pictured her baby daddy being 30-ish. So, everyone was shocked to see the guy the photo of who has been deleted now.
One Redditor wrote, “Ya my immediate thought was – he’s just a kid”.
Others confirmed that the kid was likely 22 years old in 2022 and a junior in college. Another Redditor described him, “I was shocked when I saw the picture because he looks just like every conservative white guy in my small Kentucky town. Idk what I assumed but I guess I thought since they were from NY State (?) they’d have a different vibe or something”.
According to her recent TikTok video, Maia’s baby daddy is back in the picture. In one video she captioned that the kid was “with their dad”. She stated, “The babies are with their dad so I get to stop at Dunkin [Donuts] for breakfast, go grocery shopping without wrangling them, stop at the library to get some new books to read, and then, hang out for the rest of day. I have to keep myself busy or I get sad and lonely”
So, it was believed that Maia now has shared custody with her baby father. However, Maia’s TikTok bio suggested that might not be the case at all because she is performing the role of both “mom and dad”.

Maia Knight was born as one of the three children of Deborah Morgan and Brent Knight. Her mother was born in January 1972 which makes her 52 years old in 2022. Her father is 53 years old being born in November 1968.
Brent is a Physical Therapist by profession. He has above 25 years of experience in the field of medicine. HealthCare4PPL reported that Brent graduated with honors in 1997. He specializes in Respiratory, Developmental, Rehabilitative, and Restorative Service Providers / Physical therapists.
