Maile Crewdson is among the 10 new home bakers who joined season 3 of Food Network’s Great Chocolate Showdown.
Hailing from Maui, Maile has a penchant for incorporating the beauty of nature onto her plates. She is expected to be a cool and collected multitasker. Others joining her on the show are Amber Horn, Bri Brown, Connie Cazan, Evan Morgan-Newpher, Gavan Knox, Ian Frias, Lexi Christiansen, Shyam Rethinavelu, and Vince Driver. The contestants’ skills will be tested through challenges each week and elimination will leave judges with the finalists.
The grand prize of $50k goes to the one who will be able to bring the mouth-watering recipe to the table. The decision to crown the winner has fallen into the lap of Anna Olson, Cynthia Stroud, and Steve Hodge.

Maile Crewdson Husband
Maile Crewdson met her husband Kenneth Crewdson a few days before her 23rd birthday after she moved home in Maui at the Maui County Fair on his military leave from South Korea. They celebrated her birthday by having dinner together at @mamafishhouse. That week she knew that her husband was the one she wanted to be with.
Over the next year, they developed a long-distance relationship penning down hand-written letters to each other almost weekly (she saved all the letters). Maile and Ken tied the knots on 28 August 2010.
In August 2019, Maile took to her Instagram and wrote, “9 years today! How can that be, when it feels like just yesterday I was walking down the aisle to marry this amazing man @kicrewd. #foreverbemyalways“.
The married couple, who in 2021 celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary, welcomed their daughter Ruby Mahealani on 10 April 2015. She is 6 years old as of this writing. Then, their second baby Cyrus Kamaliikupa’aikaika was born on 30 January 2017 and is now 5 years old.
Their third child Rosie Ku’umele was born on 8 August 2018.
About Maile’s husband, Ken is a graduate of the University of Washington who holds a BS degree. He worked at ASRC Energy Services and also served in the U.S. Army. Starting from 2018, he has been working with Hawaiian Electrics.

In 2013, Maile and Ken lived 29 days in Europe while visiting 6 different countries that included France, Greece, Croatia, and Switzerland. They purchased a 500-square-foot cottage on a good-sized lot on Maui, overlooking much of the island where the family of five currently lives.
