On 2 August 2020, the Prime Minister of Finland announced her marriage to the world with two photographs on her Instagram. The ceremony was held in Kesaranta, the official residence of the Finnish prime minister.
The blushing bride wore a satin gown by Finnish fashion label Anniruth while the groom donned a black tuxedo. The wedded couple’s nuptials took place on August 1st, 2020, and the Finnish government sent them a congratulatory message via Twitter.
The married couple shares a three-year-old daughter Emma Amalia Marin born on January 28, 2018. Although they appear on each other’s socials, they keep their life relatively private. They allegedly started dating each other in 2003 and engaged in 2018.
