NBC’s Chicago Fire season 11 aired its first episode on September 21, 2022, and there appeared Jake Lockett as “Sam Carver” — a new team member — with his cocky attitude. But though he was full of himself, Chief Boden was excited to bring Sam to the truck to replace Mason Locke. On the other hand, Stella Kidd wasn’t too happy with Boden’s choice as she recognized Sam from her time at the academy and they didn’t get along at all!
With all due respect, he’s not 51 material,” Stella said of Sam.
Obviously, Sam and Stella then have a tense conversation; especially about Stella’s position as a lieutenant. According to him, Stella only got her position because she’s a woman of color (which rubbed her the wrong way). This tension then extended to a rescue mission where Stella ordered Sam to perform lesser jobs rather than rescuing victims at the wedding fire. Which in turn, displeased Boden greatly!
Seem like the season’s going to be as interesting as ever. So interesting that even Even Jake was excited. “Can’t wait to share this badass character with you,” the actor shared in an IG post.

His parents, Cindy Lockett @cindyll55 (born: Mar 1955) and Tim Lockett @tim.lockett.5 (born: Feb 1960) were married back on May 21, 1980. And they still are married as of 2022.
According to the actor, his mother was an “amazing human being.” She affected so many people with “positivity and love”, and was the source of Jake’s “golden locks.” Also, he added that he and his siblings “wouldn’t be the people (they) are today without her.”
Likewise, Cindy loved her son to the moon. Promoting Jake on her FB, she wrote, “Hey friends! I wanted to let you know that Jake will be on Chicago Fire starting next Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 pm on NBC. He should be on for about the next 8 or so episodes if you would like to watch.”
