And the list goes on. 2022 is definitely not in the favor of Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine with a new woman coming forward with their own story of Adam approaching them with flirty messages. After IG & OnlyFans model Sumner Stroh and Adam’s yoga teacher Alanna Zabel, along with two other women before that (A comedian named Maryka and a woman named Alyson Rose), a fifth woman named Ashley Russell has come forward, making it the sixth girl who has made an accusation of sending flirty messages to her.
Ashley exposed Adam sharing that Adam sent DMs on 13 March 2022. She said that the singer watched her IG stories and messaged her “almost every day at night around 10 pm.” They connected online when she was 20 years old after the influencer noticed that the Maroon 5 frontman viewed her Instagram story.
Ashley said: “He would like mainly like booty stories and would always reply with something to do with leg or booty day at the gym.” In one of her stories, Adam commented, “Leg day. The most important and the easiest to skip.”
He would almost immediately delete the message after she had read them.
Likewise, in another pic where she showed off her toned legs and glutes, Adam chimed in and replied, “nice work on legs. #commitment.” However, the message stopped coming her way after she confronted her saying that he would “get caught DMing girls like me.”
Ashley also added, “I think this is the true meaning of disrespect towards a woman. It makes me very sad that he is married and does this immature thing.” She continued, “I wonder what his feed looks like… all young women? Very off to me.”
Ashley Russell said in a Daily Mail interview that she found it “weird” that Adam Levine was talking to her. Russell, who described herself as a ‘random girl in college’ compared to the Hollywood star, admitted that she thought it was ‘weird’ that Levine would strike up a conversation with her, but said she felt compelled to continue chatting to see how far he would go.
However, she decided to continue the conversation with him to see how far their interactions would go. She also claimed that he admitted to finding her on Instagram’s Discover Page. She said, “He said he found me from his Discover Page on Instagram because he is ‘big into fitness’ and I have a fitness account. I knew it was weird so I wanted to keep it going to see if it got worse.”
Adam hasn’t made a statement regarding his yoga teacher’s accusations. Meanwhile, he denied having an affair with Sumner. He then said, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” he said. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
He added, “My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly mattered to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”
Reportedly, his super-model wife Behati Prinsloo is upset but she believes that nothing physical happened with the women who came forward.
