Below Deck Mediterranean in its seventh season has introduced to its viewers its newest stew, Elena Dubaich among other interior and exterior crew members.

As the yacht was traveling around Malta, the S07 E17 saw stew Kyle Viljoen take a tumble down the stairs and sprain his ankle. He was put on bed rest and so chief stew Natasha Webb was required to find a replacement for him. Hence, in the next episode, we were introduced to Elena Dubaich, as Kyle’s replacement.
Elena, however, did not seem to have any experience being a stew. But, fans instead of worrying that this could raise some issues in future episodes, seemed hell-bent on poking fun at Kyle that he is only milking his injury on the show.
Also, because, not all Below Deck Mediterranean watchers liked Kyle, replacing him with Elena may be a good thing. After S07 E17 aired, many viewers took notice of the fact that even though Kyle had a sprained ankle and could not work, he seemed to be up for going out. So, folks took to Twitter to complain that even when he is able to work, he only does the bare minimum and never really works hard.
