Meet Jocelyn Bonadio-de Freitas, Comedian Hari Kondabolu Alleged Wife
Comedian Hari Kondabolu is relatively private about his married life as they didn’t give much insight into his marriage. But, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t share anything at all. The most recent pic of Hari and his partner Jocelyn Bonadio-de Freitas is on September 2021.
With a selfie of the two which Hari posted on his IG, he captioned the post, “First weekend without the baby.” There are other posts where he has featured his partner but he didn’t delve into details about their marriage.

In 2022, Hari was one of the hosts of Netflix’s cooking competition show Snack VS Chef. He hosted the show with fellow comedian Megan Stalter. Hari was born to Telugu parents and graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Politics. He later earned a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics in 2008.
Hari Kondabolu attributes his “big break” to the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival in Seattle. He served as the festival’s booker for HBO’s Comedy Festival in 2006. Since then, he has performed as a stand-up comedian on various television programs. Notable examples include Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2007 and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show in 2010 and 2012.

Jocelyn Bonadio-de Freitas and Hari Kondabolu are parents to one son. In mid-June 2020, Hari announced that they were expecting parents via a Twitter post. He wrote, “My partner Jocelyn & I are getting a new roommate.” Fans congratulated the couple for the newest addition to the family.
In August 2021, Hari announced that his wife has written an article on Medium. He posted, “My partner Jocelyn wrote this painfully honest piece about her pregnancy & first year of Motherhood during COVID. It’s beautiful. Please read it.”
Jocelyn shared that on the first day of 2020, she discovered that she was pregnant. She also delved into her and Hari’s relationship and wrote, “My relationship with my partner was less than two years old; loving, yet unstable at times. As 30-somethings who always wanted to be parents, we gambled on our relationship and the future of our lives and decided to keep the pregnancy. What could go wrong, other than everything?”
Jocelyn shared her pregnancy experience that she was “making life, surrounded by senseless death.” She also talked cliches about being a parent. Jocelyn explained, “Once my son was born, the transformation of my time was more significant than the physical changes. The cliché is true: once you become a parent, your life isn’t yours anymore. Before becoming a mom, a long day meant that even if I was exhausted from work, I still got to go home and be responsible for just myself. Now I go home after a long day at work and within minutes of walking in the door, I do childcare.”
