Meet Park Jong-Ye, Korean Gymnast & Physical 100 Star Yang Hak-Seon Wife
Yang Hak-Seon married his beautiful bride Park Jong-Ye on 24 October 2020. Jon-Ye posted a series of photographs from their big day and captioned it, “Hello 🥰…The wedding was successfully completed amidst your blessings. Thank you so much for remembering and congratulating me even in the midst of difficult and busy times. It was a happy day.”
He posted two wedding day photographs and captioned them, “#October 24 #wedding #one week ago.” Before that, he had also posted pics of congratulatory gifts that they received from friends and relatives.
In June 2020, the married couple also had a wedding day shoot. And based on one post he was glad that it didn’t rain that day.
On their first wedding anniversary, Hak-Seon wasn’t with his wife to celebrate the day. He was away competing. So, he apologize to his wife that he couldn’t be with her due to the World Championship final.
The married couple has been in a relationship since 10 November 2013.
Although Hak-seon appeared to be cruising through the first episode, the competition portion of the show is supposed to provide participants with difficult tasks. Participants in the first game had to hold onto bars as long as they could. The gymnast claimed that because he had been hanging off bars for 21 years, all the other gymnasts in the country would criticize him if he didn’t perform properly.
One rival even remarked on Hak-seon’s calmness as the others were dropping like flies. At one point, the Olympian even dozed off on the bar! Hak-seon finished second overall, barely behind former UDT instructor Kim Kyeong-Baek.
Hak-seon attended Gwangju Sports High School. Then he attended Korea National Sports University. He worked at EDCF (External Economic Cooperation Fund). South Korean artistic gymnast Yang Hak-seon competes professionally and focuses on the vault. He took up gymnastics at age nine following his brother into the sport.
By winning the vault event at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he made history by being the first athlete from the Republic of Korea to win an Olympic gold medal in artistic gymnastics. He became the first South Korean gymnast to earn an Olympic gold medal in 2021 after winning gold in the Asia Championships and the London Olympics.
The gymnast won the world vault gold medal in 2011 and 2013, in addition to the Olympic crown.
Despite having a hamstring injury, Hak-seonparticipated in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, Republic of Korea. He had to miss the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, due to the same injury.
At the 2017 World Championships in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Hak-seonalso withdrew from the vault final after aggravating a hamstring issue during the warm-up. In June 2021, his right hamstring gave him issues once more. In 2018, he suffered a right-hand fracture. He had a right Achilles tendon injury in training in March 2016. He needed surgery, so he was unable to compete in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016. In 2013, he had injuries to his right ankle and back.
