Actress Valerie Bertinelli may have kept her boyfriend’s identity secret for a month, according to PageSix, but Mike Goodnough is making a splash.
After her divorce, Valerie told PEOPLE in April 2024 that she had no intention of looking for love again, but that changed when Goodnough entered her life.
“I was supposed to die with my six cats and my dog and very happily live the rest of my years alone — I’m good alone,” she said. “My belly is flip-flopping. This was not supposed to happen.”
A few years before they started dating, she messaged the writer on Instagram and they became friends. This is how the new couple first met. “It was strictly platonic but there was something about him that I connected with that felt familiar,” she said. “A comfort level.
