Mike Lemieux On HGTV’s Houses With History
Houses with History premiered on HGTV on September 29, 2021, and the viewers got to see three new faces, the history buff Mike Lemieux, carpenter Rich Soares, and designer Jen MacDonald. The series shared the stories of the homes’ origins and renovations, and the three preservationists worked their magic restoring those vintage homes to their original state.
According to Jenny Macdonald, Mike’s life partner and co-owner of Full Circle Homes, the concept for that show came around all thanks to the HGTV star, Jonathan Knight. It was Jonathan who first emplored them to have their show after noticing their amazing works. Then, HGTV came out did a quick sizzle reel and they got green-lighted for an entire series.
Also, Jenny shared that “Mike is pretty funny.” So, the viewers can get a good laugh out of the show whilst learning something historic. But there are also times the show will make you cry. “You will most definitely see me cry,” Jenny added.
If you don’t know, the six-episode series was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic which presented even more challenges in the renovations. Mike shared that they had “a very safe, strict plan for all employees including testing 3 times a week”, and everyone stayed safe through the whole thing.

Mike Lemieux inherits the talent for handcraft from his father Bill Lemieux. According to Mike, his father was the “most skilled craftsmen” he knew, and also Bill was the one who first introduced Mike to the renovative world. “My father took me on more jobs than I can remember as a kid,” Mike recalled.
As for Mike’s mother, she was a jolly person who appeared a few times over Mike’s IG.

At the time, Mike worked from his home restoration company called Full Circle Homes along with his wife which was featured on the HGTV series Houses with History. Besides that, Mike also worked as a vice president of Wells Fargo Captial Finance for over 15 years then.
Also, you might not know but Mike is a motorcycle fanatic. He owned Motorcycle and More, a motorcycle company that specialized in clean late model sportbikes, restorations of classics, and antique collectibles.

The two both share a passion for real estate, renovations, and history. No wonder, Jennifer was Mike’s business partner, and also she was a real estate agent at William Raveis Real Estate. Apart from that, she was also working for Sucess! Real Estate for over 4 years then.
For education, Jennifer graduated with an Associate in Science degree from Cape Cod Community College and went on to join Curry College for her bachelor’s.
According to Mike, his wife is the “hardest worker” he knew and “the best partner” he ever had.
The couple celebrated their anniversary on December 15.
Also, Mike and Jennifer share two kids named Karissa (born July 6, 1999) And Alex (born June 26, 2002). The two children are likely from Jennifer’s previous relationship.
As of 2021, Mike and Jennifer were happily in a relationship. They even bought their dream farm in Plympton, Massachusetts in July that year. Mike shared that they were the third family to own the property in over 320 years.
