In 2022, Jake went on his social media with an offer to Dana White to quit pursuing boxing as a career if “he increased fighter pay from $12k to $50K, guarantee UFC fighters 50% of UFC’s annual revenue ($1bn in 2021) and provide healthcare to all fighters because brain damage was part of boxing.
He set the time limit of 5 days to accept his offer and to execute the conditions put forth by 31 March 2022. He promised to retire immediately and enter USADA and agree to 1 fight deal with UFC fight Jorge Masvidal.

On the other hand, Dana was quick to respond to Jake’s offer and made a video. He told, “That thing that you came out with today, nobody on Earth thinks that you wrote that. You’re too stupid.”
“You’re tanking. You can’t sell pay-per-views,” Dana said. “You’re calling out Jorge Masvidal because he’s a pay-per-view superstar. Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Mike Tyson, these are all superstars. You’re not. You can’t sell pay-per-views. So you do whatever the hell you wanna do,” he added further.
After taking a jab at Jake, Dana responded to Nakisa saying, “That guy used to be an accountant for me, and let’s just say this, he no longer works for me and I think he is a sc*mbag, But if you two think that you can do better than we do, that we doing this whole thing wrong, that you can treat the fighters better than we are, knock yourself out, go start your own business.”

Speaking on his background, Nakisa Bidarian is of Iranian-Canadian ethnicity. He was born in Iran, just before what was known as the Iranian revolution. At the time, Iran was a monarchy, people were westernized and the Iranian revolution occurred when Islamic leaders came and took over the country. At the time, he was 1 year old, and given the upheaval, he and his family immigrated to London at the time.
They stayed there for a few years. They returned to Iran when he was 3 when things seemed to calm down. So, his brother left the country before he and his family did and found his way to America to live with some family. And, shortly after Nakisa and his family also fled from Iraq through Turkey, then went to Germany, and eventually landed in Chicago.
The family settled in Columbus Ohio. That’s where his life as an American started. His family moved from Columbus to LA to Cincinnati, to Washington DC, and moved to Toronto in the late 1980s where he spend a few years.
