Meet Nate Uselding, HGTV Lindsey Uselding Husband

Nate Uselding and Lindsey Uselding started their love story before 2008. Now, over 15 years later, the two are still together and happier than ever. Commemorating their anniversary recently, Nate took to his IG on June 20, 2022, to write, “Happy Anniversary Lindsey! You’re the love of my life and I can’t imagine a day without you! You are the best! Thank you for making me who I am and being an amazing wife and mother!”

But Nate’s not the only one who’s vocal about his love on IG. The HGTV star also took the time out (right after Renovation 911’s premiere) to post a photo alongside Nate captioned, “With the premiere of our new show #Renovation911 and our busy schedules, it’s important to take time for family and self-care.”

However, this post came only a few days after Nate showed his support to his wife on an IG post captioned, “Do you girls know how to throw a party, or what?  Here we go! #Renovation911 is the REAL DEAL! Congratulations @lindsey.uselding @kirstmeehan on all your hard work and dedication to this amazing show! We had so many laughs, snorts, and tears. Truly a special night. So proud!”

Nate and Lindsey Uselding share two kids — Alivia and Braylin Uselding.

Their oldest, Alivia Jade Uselding turned 15 in January 2023, and she was in 9th grade at the time.

As for Braylin, she turned 13 in May 2022 and was in 7th grade at the time (now 8th).

According to Lindsey, her oldest Alivia was “such an inspiration with her quiet confidence, work ethic, and independence” when she filmed Renovation 911.

Trivia: Alivia missed the family trip in April 2023 because she was in France vacationing with her friends.

Nate Uselding is an elementary teacher. In 2023, he was employed as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Delano Public Schools for almost 12 years.

But before that, he took a break from his job and became a stay-at-home dad for 6 long years.

And way before that, Nate used to be a track and field coach at Osseo Area Schools and Winona Public Schools. Also, he worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Bridges Golf Club (from Oct 2006 to Jan 2008) and Dellwood Country Club (from Apr 2003 to Oct 2006).

Nate Uselding Family

Nate Uselding comes from a loving family. His mother Judy Zwirchitz Woltersom @judith_delane11 found love with James Woltersom.

So, once Judy married James, Nate got two more siblings Joshua Woltersom and Jordan Wendt besides his biological sister Heather Rohm.

Sadly, James took his last breath on May 15, 2020, at the age of 69. He was a  Cape Coral, Florida native who attended Calvin College and earned his Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Michigan. As for his job, he was the Vice President of Corporate Facilities for TCF Bank, overseeing 60+ branches and constructing 26 new branches. Also, he was a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Commercial Appraiser and Consultant for Reinhart Commercial and Terzo Bologna.

And not to mention, he was a big Michigan Blue fan. They said he never missed a  Michigan football game until he met Judy.

On the other hand, Judy was alive and doing well as of 2023. We last saw her on Nate’s IG in May 2022 over a post captioned, “Happy Mother’s Day @judith_delane11 There’s never a dull moment when you’re around! Thank you for being you and helping me become who I am!”

Also, Nate’s grandmother Jane passed away in January 2023 at the age of 98. She was a “courageous, positive, and joyful” person. “This woman was the epitome of what a grandma should be and could be. When you walked in the room, she made you feel like the most important person alive,” Nate said.
