Save My Skin Season 5, which premieres on Discovery Plus on 14 June 2023, is bringing dermatologist Dr Emma Craythorne. And while she continues her mission to change the lives of her patients one more time, she will be joined by her capable team of plastic surgeons, nurses, and phototherapy specialists. Nurse Mottie Hatsady, whom we are going to talk about now, is one of them.

Nurses Mottie and Rosie have been making consistent appearances beside Dr. Emma over multiple seasons of Discovery Plus’s Save My Skin.
Per IMDB, Mottie Hatsady has been featured as Dr. Emma’s nurse in a total of 20 episodes between 2019 and 2022. Dr. Emma herself has appeared in a total of 31 episodes.
It is believed that the coming seasons will also continue to cast Mottie and her other medical practitioner fellows as long as they continue to work with Dr. Emma, who films the episodes from inside her private practice clinic. But, of course, a fully new set of patients will reclaim their confidence and skin in the fifth season.

The TLC series since going on-air for the first time has documented those living with extreme skin conditions as they visit Dr. Emma’s UK-based clinic for treatment. To unversed, a consultation with Emma on Save My Skin costs £500. If the client is needed a follow-up appointment, they will have to pay £200. Most likely the same paying rule applies to patients coming to Emma in Season 5 as well. In the new season’s press release, they teased the viewers to expect to see uncontrollable psoriasis, disfiguring keloids, massive lipomas, and even mystery conditions that will test Dr. Emma’s expertise. “Using cutting-edge technology and tried and tested methods of popping, slicing, and squeezing, she helps people get their lives back.”, TLC gushed in its trailer.
Besides Emma other specialists at the medical center also have been featured in TV productions including ITV’s This Morning Show, Channel 4’s Send Nudes: Body SOS, and BBC London. Probably not Mottie though.
Emma particularly also stars in Quest Red’s Bad Skin Clinic. This one is the same as Save My Skin as it features the same patients. However, episodes are released in a different order under a different name.

For an unknown period of time, she has been working at Dr. Emma Craythorne’s dermatology clinic called Klira. At Klira, which its founder claims to have set up frustrated by the waste and mis-selling in skincare, Mottie happens to be one of its nurse consultants. “Despite all the hype around wonder ingredients, there is only a handful that actually has the power to change your skin. And even then, the ingredients alone aren’t enough. That’s why I set up Klira”, this is what Mottie’s employer said about why she set Klira.
