Raven Liberty was one of the lawyers defending YMW Melly’s case when the rapper was charged with the double murder of his childhood friends.
For those of you just catching up, Melly was arrested in 2019 and charged with two counts of first-degree murder following the death of Christopher Thomas Jr and Anthony Williams. These two men were also part of the YNW crew in Florida.
As per state prosecutors, Melly and his co-defendant were in the car with the victims at the time of their deaths as opposed to their claims about a drive-by shooting that took the YNW members’ lives.
Obviously, Melly pleaded “not guilty” but he had been in jail since 2019 as his bond was denied.
His case was initially scheduled to begin on June 5, 2023, but it was delayed by a few more days as the jurors were being finalized.
Now, coming to the waves that his lawyer Raven was making. It was all thanks to her old mugshot that resurfaced amid Melly’sdouble murder trial. The pictures that were making the rounds were taken after her alleged arrest in 2022. Reportedly, the lawyer was charged with Battery that year and booked into a Miami jail.
However, the mugshots could also be from her arrests for trespassing in 2021 or “disorderly conduct on premises of an establishment, resisting officer w/o violence, & trespass” in 2007.
But in her defense, all the charges were “Nolle Prosequi” (dismissed for lack of evidence).
Aside from the mugshots, Raven was also making noise amongst the fans, thanks to her blessed body. MediaTakeOut mentioned her to be “thick” as they posted multiple pictures of her from the courtroom.

Thanks to her, when Black was under probation for 18 months and was later sentenced to 46 months in prison, then-President Donald Trump commuted his sentence to 10 months.
Aside from being a lawyer, Raven is also the owner of Liberty Construction Managment, LLC, a one-stop shop for all real estate development and construction needs. She founded the construction management company back in Oct 2013 in Miami, serving both the residential and commercial real estate industries.
