Monty Lopez, the father of TikTok celebrity Addison Rae, allegedly had an affair with a 25-year-old woman that lasted for five months. They reportedly started dating in March through a mutual friend. The woman is named Renée Ash. Renée exclusively revealed to PageSix that Monty led her to believe that their relationship was more meaningful.
“Unfortunately, he misled me on his marriage, he lied to me,” Renée told the outlet. She claimed that Monty told him that the marriage with his wife Sheri Easterling ended when it wasn’t.
“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together,” she continues. “He even introduced me to his mom, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. And, he told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce”.
Renée revealed that she broke up with Monty Lopez in early July 2022 after several girls accused the middle-aged influencer of hitting on them in person and even over FaceTime. She added that the last straw was when she saw leaked footage online of Monty allegedly caressing a girl’s backside during a night out partying who is allegedly of 19 years old.
TikTok user @marlig_ who uploaded the video, now deleted, the young girl alleged, “Addison Rae’s dad is trying to f—k me, I swear to God”.
Ash told PageSix, “If anybody was hurting, it was me and his family. I am beyond sorry for that”. She added, “I loved him and I believed him. When I found out about the other young girls, my heart broke”. Renée also apologized for any pain the family had to endure because of this.
“I am so sorry if anything I have said has hurt his family any more than he already has,” Renée says. “And I am also sorry that he has hurt me so deeply that I believed we were in love”.
The text exchanges showed Monty referring to them as a “power couple”. Screenshots that Ash revealed to PageSix show that Monty allegedly made promises to Ash about their future. He shared plans to move in with her, marry her, and start a family. Text also showed that Monty had a “weird relationship” with his wife Sheri and what he had with Ash was different.
One text even shows that Monty “left” his wife for “bitching” and “F**king with” him. He then warned Renee not to demonstrate similar behavior which might lead to the end of their relationship.
Monty also allegedly accused Renee of excessive drinking and flirting with acquaintances of the opposite sex. She called him out for “gaslighting” her at the time. But now, according to an insider, she feels he was merely “projecting” worries about his own alleged behavior.
“Anytime she spoke to a male, Renée would never hear the end of it,” the source claims. “Monty would threaten to break up with her over stuff that he seemed to be doing himself”.
On top of that, there was also a pregnancy scare involved when Ash had two positive urine tests. Renee felt as though she “had no support from” Monty, who allegedly texted in response, “Your not [pregnant]”.
“You handled my pregnancy scare really poorly,” she allegedly texted him. “I can’t handle … having two positive tests and [you] fully blowing me off … Especially after you kept saying I’ll never pull out [and] I want to marry you”.
“Renée was relieved when her blood tests came back negative,” the source says. “She tried breaking up with Monty after that, but he started texting her again like crazy and they got back together”.
Monty also texted Renee that more children “would be fun not necessary”. Although they had planned a trip to Ibiza, it never happened. But, they did go to the South of France around the same time as the alleged kids’ conversation. Monty also revealed that he already picked out names for their future kids.
“We are the chosen ones,” he allegedly wrote. “I love you … I will always be forever indebted to you”. But, Monty stalled on going public with the relationship. Text messages show that she grew tired of keeping it under wraps — even if, a source notes, “most of Los Angeles already knew about them”.
In recent weeks, Rae has notably unfollowed her father on Instagram and Easterling has removed “wife” from her Instagram bio. Meanwhile, Lopez’s bio still includes “Husband to @sherinicole.”
